Residents of northern Delaware, New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania are subject to a Excessive heat warning until 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday.
Dangerous conditions are expected, with heat indexes reaching 109 degrees.
Those on the Jersey Shore won't feel the same, but will still experience temperatures around 80 degrees.

To stay safe during this period of excessive heat, follow these precautionary measures:
